By accessing or using TradeTaxer (the "Service"), operated by TradeTaxer ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") at tradetaxer.com, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.
TradeTaxer provides an automated tax intelligence platform designed for active traders. The Service includes, without limitation: automated brokerage data import, real-time tax liability estimation, wash sale detection and tracking, tax-loss harvesting alerts, and the generation of tax-related reports and documents. The Service is currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of a jurisdiction in which the Service is legally available to use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
By submitting your information to join the TradeTaxer waitlist, you: (a) consent to receive communications from us regarding the Service; (b) acknowledge that waitlist enrollment does not guarantee access to the Service upon launch; (c) understand that waitlist priority may be assigned at our sole discretion; and (d) agree that the Company may contact you via email using the address provided.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit false or misleading information; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (e) use automated means to access or scrape the Service; or (f) impersonate any person or entity.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and icons — are the exclusive property of TradeTaxer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TradeTaxer and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service following such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including AES-256 encryption, TLS in transit, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

Security is not an afterthought at TradeTaxer — it is foundational. We apply the principle of least privilege across all systems, and our architecture is designed with the assumption that breaches can happen. We build to contain and detect them.
All data stored by TradeTaxer is encrypted at rest using AES-256. All data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Encryption keys are managed using industry-standard key management practices and rotated regularly.
TradeTaxer uses read-only API connections to your brokerage accounts. We do not store brokerage credentials. We cannot place trades, withdraw funds, or take any action on your account. Our access is strictly limited to reading transaction and position data.
Internal access to user data is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis. All internal access is logged and audited. Multi-factor authentication is required for all internal systems. We follow the principle of least privilege at every layer.
Our infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers with SOC 2 Type II certifications. We conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Our systems are monitored 24/7 for anomalous activity.
In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware, in accordance with applicable data breach notification laws. We maintain a documented incident response plan.
